Dear Members and Friends of AMMA,

While the Presidential election is still taking shape, one thing is clear. The announced candidates, Vice President Harris, former President Trump, and Senator Vance, have made solid public declarations of their intentions to support domestic manufacturing and expand support for domestic medical supplies and PPE. We are thankful that no matter the outcome, AMMA may have an ally in the next White House.

Our efforts to educate the Administration and Congress for additional industry support have progressed. This past week, the House Select Committee on China introduced two new bills that could significantly enhance protections for our domestic industry.  You can find the details of these bills [here] and [here].

Congress will recess soon. The break is an excellent time to engage your local federal representatives. Invite her to take a tour or sit down with him and discuss the challenges you face and the opportunities to grow the local economy and support national resilience.  These visits can help further AMMA’s goals.

As we approach the fall and winter, we encourage you to share your upcoming milestones. Let us know how we can utilize our communication and social media operations to support you. Your input is invaluable in helping us tailor our support to your needs.
